Janelle Arthur grew up in the small town of Oliver Springs, TN. Arthur’s love for music began before she could talk and when she was 8 years old Arthur was hired to portray a young Dolly Parton in Dollywood’s production of Paradise Road. For over a decade, Janelle performed in the Pigeon Forge area before heading to Nashville to pursue her love for songwriting. Arthur  began a life in Music City while dawning on a journey auditioning for American Idol where she  attained top 5 finalist. Since then, she has collaborated with or opened for artists such as Blake Shelton, Chris Young, Vince Gill, Rascal Flatts, The Band Perry, Deana Carter, The Isaacs and many more. Arthur has performed on The Grand Ole Opry over 25 times.  A full-circle moment came when she recorded a duet she had written and co-produced “Hand Me Downs”, with her musical hero Dolly Parton.  Janelle Arthur has had the opportunity to expand her reach outside of music and segway into film with her starring roles in feature films “Runnin From My Roots” and romantic comedy, “Five Date Rule”. Arthur continues to make a name for herself as a recording artist, producer, actress and versatile entertainer.
